ABSTRACT:
Analysis on state of the art D&D technologies for decommissioning of Bandung TM-U reactor-if this reactor decided for decommissioning have been conducted. The research have been carried out through bibliography studies by analysing state of the art D&D technologies established internationally and comparing the result with present condition of Bandung TM-II reactor.
From this study, it was known that established D&D technologies could be applied for decommissioning Bandung TM-II reactor. The emerging D&D technologies also could be adopted. The technologies are efficient and effective for decommissioning, however the cost is expensive. Due to Bandung TM-II reactor's structure is simple, contain concrete, graphite, beam collimator etc., the established D&D technologies could be applied for decommissioning this reactor.
