Abstract:
Paving stone is part of functioning
infrastruction material as street concreting, in the place of concrete
rebate, even also is used in the place of asphalt. Advantage applies
paving stone is the erection easy to and doesn't require cementing
agent, and relative cheaper is compared to other material. Besides the
keeping is easier and cheap.
On the other side, availability of
feedstock paving longer on the wane or increasingly limited. For the
purpose must be searched material alternative of lessen or replaces
exploiting of sand as component of fundamental. Alternative taken
between of scallop-shell exploiting. The reason is basin at
scallop-shell interior can catch sand dough and cements, causing is
enabled able to strengthen paving, and shell at scallop-shell exterior
has surging texture the small ones, this hardly assists in process of
hardening and locking. Result of research indicates that addition
scallop-shell to mixture paving to 2,5 part of mixture filler paving can
increase weight paving yielded, but addition more than 2,5 part of
mixture filler paving smaller. compared to without scallop-shell.
Addition of scallop-shell until 3 part of mixture filler paving can
increase compressive strength paving yielded, but addition more than 3
part of mixture filler paving the compressive strength is smaller
compared to without scallop-shell. There is connection significan
between weights and compressive strength, increasingly weight paving
yielded, ever greater of the compressive strength is and conversely.
