Abstract:
The research objection
is to determine the lowest cost of transportation and distribution in
Java referring to serving capacity level on each distributor. There are 4
factories serving 34 distributors.
The method is to make
transportation network and distribution of goods as transportation model
and finalized with linier programming method. Transportation model will
form a model of supply and demand from factory to distributor. While
programming linear method will finalize transportation model with help
of software Lindo version 6.1. Transportation model of distribution will
be developed in 4 forms of model with level of service of 0%, 10%, 20%
and 30%. Each model will be found its network model form and its cost
of transportation that happened. The result of model shows that cost on
level of service 0%, 10%, 20% and 30% successively: Rp 134.361.600, Rp
134.816.400, Rp 151.256.200, and Rp 144.404.300. But at
level of service 0%, 7 neglected distributor occured (0% distributor
capacity). The conclusion, model that applied is model with level of
service of 10% where the capacity of each distributor is fulfilled with
cost of transportation and distribution Rp 134.816.400.
